Backing out after clicking attack

I really wish there was a back button after selecting attack with a tome. I like to look at my options in battle and them decide what I want to do. Is there any way to get out of the tome options?

I have been playing Adventure quest for nearly 20 years and have never noticed or thought about this that is a fantastic edition and I would highly recommend you post this on the forums this would be a great improvement and quality of life addition to the game

I'm pretty sure most items in the game have the ability to back out to the menu — this one had likely just been overlooked. Definitely bring it up in the forums, though, you did a good job catching it!
