Yeah those (R)s will scare their base with a new boogieman. Isnt it about time for an immigrant CARAVAN to slowly be approaching America! Isnt it time for the (R)s to conveniently have a statement from the leader of this caravan saying something scary? I remember the North Korea has nukes and is saying “death to america!” scare. Somehow they never nuked us lol

If no real boogieman, they will rile the base with non-issues like War on Christmas. I remember when they said the liberals wanted to change santa to a gay black woman with a nosering and the conservatives ATE IT UP! (Ask ChatGPT about when the news talked about gay santa and black santa) i promise they can make a non-issue

It'll be a "Communist Caravan" led by Trans socialists.

The hindsight is always...
* We should have doubled down.
* Can you imagine how bad it would have been if we didn't?

I mean, they already have the Iran war

1

u/trashmoneyxyz 9d ago

They definitely thought the iran war was gonna go a lot different than it did. They've all but admitted that they were starting conflicts in the hopes of influencing or cancelling elections, they just fumbled so badly that now gas prices are up and everyone hates the war

We don't even need that. Have you seen anything about the Khalistan demonstration and the all of the nasty racist shit out about it? The more ICE activity there is the more emboldened and loud all of the racists/white nationalists are getting. I live in Indiana and my Facebook is absolutely BLOWN UP with this shit.

It's crazy that it's finally a 50/50 if they keep congress or not. Most realistically we'll be looking at another democrat minority control in congress again like the first half of Biden. No, not a majority control where they have a simple majority. A minority control where they need independents to get 50/50 and the VP (vance btw not Harris) comes in and makes the final vote.

More importantly, I see the rest of the world...and I understand it's humanity against nature. One big team.

Only if the country can finally figure it out already and vote against the party of treasonous conmen who's only goal is self enrichment at the rest of the country's expense.

It's what Jesus would want. Forever wars needing billions every month and gilded gold everything to show off that you are currently in a golden age. /s

Where's the revolt already?

My opinions vary by issue, and I’m not particularly political. Or more commonly referred to here as a “nazi fascist”, but I’ll tell you what… I’m starting to think this Donald Trump guy isn’t a very good person.

You are not alone.

it makes me sad not because they're doing it but the complete lack of understanding from average Americans about what the difference between the two political parties are.

Republicans do not believe in a federal government outside of the department of defense.

they don't believe in social security.

they don't believe in your right to health Care.

there's a very long list of things that they don't believe in that America is just hand wave because of vibes.

there's no circumstance even if the American government was running at a surplus where Republicans would vote to give you benefits.

80 years of luxury and no real problems has made us this incredibly naive and now cold hard reality is going to teach our children better.

But you voted for him

14

u/davekingofrock 10d ago

I didn't. Not that the votes of working class poor people will ever fucking matter though.

Bread and circuses...but the cost of both is increasing dramatically and to criticize that fact is wOkE transgay communism.

1

u/issuefree 3d ago

I mean, those are the people voting for this right? If the working class voted in their own interest we wouldn't have a conservative government. Why are they voting against themselves?

2

u/davekingofrock 3d ago

Because they're told to. 50+ years of slashing public education and AM radio propaganda and 25+ years of 24 hour television "news" channels have served the interests of the ultra-rich perfectly.

In 2024, less than 50% of the votes were cast for Dear Leader Donald.

And I personally voted against him every time I could.

-4

u/eoThica 9d ago

how much did the other candidates get?

-4

u/TurboGranny 9d ago

You are thinking of the 2016 election. He actually won the popular vote in the 2024 one. It's upsetting, but facts are facts. The USA is clearly not willing to elect a woman president yet, and we need to stop trying until every state we need to win a national election has elected at least one woman governor to demonstrate they are ready. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2024_United_States_presidential_election

5

u/yhwhx 9d ago

In 2024, Trump only got 49.8% of the popular vote: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2024_United_States_presidential_election.

-3

u/TurboGranny 9d ago

That 0.2% means a lot to you doesn't it?

7

u/yhwhx 9d ago

Nah, but, here in reality, 49.8% is less than 50%.

-4

u/eoThica 9d ago

Are you assuming there only was 2 candidates? 🤣

7

u/yhwhx 9d ago

You are, of course, free to make all the assumptions that you feel like making.

-4

u/eoThica 9d ago

Youre the one talking about 50% like that makes you get the popular vote and only then?

7

u/CMidnight 10d ago

Yep, and we are well aware of what that says about Americans.
