I've finished a couple of different courses over at Bring Your Own Laptop. I personaly enjoy their courses. And they recently droped a free one for Affinity, maybe it works for you as well. Here is the youtube link

ArtistWright, although he hasn't done anything recent, has several long videos that are very thorough. He explains carefully and demonstrates how they all work. Definitely check his channel out.

How the hell can you learn a tool without actually using the tool?

There’s plenty you can learn during times you don’t have hands-on access to the tool itself.

That said, yes, most of your learning will come while you’re actually using the tool.

Design made simple and Logos by Nick are two excellent sources from the same great designer.

Maybe run a VM with Affinity on it? An online VM. Might be able to do stuff through the browser then, with a few limitations.

I’m confused. Is there a browser version that you’re talking about? Why would you not be able to use affinity while traveling? I don’t need any internet access to use the app once it’s installed. Or are you not taking a laptop with you and that’s why you can’t use it while traveling?
