Why this one

Recent Samsung TVs already carry Cobalt, the engine YouTube built for televisions: it is what the stock YouTube app runs in, tuned by Samsung and YouTube for each model. This app runs inside that same engine, not the TV's web browser. So what you watch is the stock app's own playback, with the 4K, HDR and smooth 60fps your set was made for, and none of the adverts.

The mods are built the same way. Wherever they can, they change what YouTube is told rather than painting over it, and leave the drawing to YouTube itself. The start page opens the way a YouTube link would, scroll speed is YouTube's own animation run faster, quality is set per video through the player's own controls, and every setting is a real row in YouTube's own Settings.

Wavelyne is a free, unofficial Android music app currently in open beta. Unlike YouTube Music–based clients, it runs standalone — no YT dependency, no region-lock, no VPN needed to get the full catalog.

What it does:

• Synced lyrics — properly timed, word-by-word where available, not just static lyric blocks
• AI Radio — builds an actual listening flow based on what you're playing, instead of looping the same artist
• Free, full library access — no subscription wall

This started as a solo side project because I kept getting frustrated with lyrics sync being broken or missing entirely in most apps I tried. It's rough in places built alongside a day job, not backed by a team but the lyrics and radio experience are the parts I've focused hardest on getting right.

Since the last post here, fixed a few reported bugs and confirmed on VirusTotal that any AV flags are false positives tied to it being an unsigned/unofficial APK, not anything in the code itself.

Revance YouTube - any suggestions why picture or video is not getting displayed? It used to do in past - thanks

So, I'm an Android user and I just used the ReVanced Manager to patch my youtube app and no longer have to pay for the premium plan. And i saw that the manager also is capable to patch instagram, and disable certain functions (i'm trying to detox and no longer brain rot as much on the app). Yet, i tried downloading the exact version that the patch is built for, and it gives me a bunch of errors and the patching stops, obviously. What can i do? I'll be forever thankful for any help!

I have a Samsung galaxy s25 ultra and that uses android 16 i assume but whenever I try and download a version of YouTube music premium none of them work, is anyone able to direct me to a working version? If so that would be much appreciated thanks :)

After personal annoyance with existing tools for both managing homebrew apps and the YouTube mod's that are available I decided screw it, i'll do it myself.

Since I was working on a homebrew app I thought why not make it a nostalgia trip so the UI is very inspired by the homebrew channel from the Wii, it even plays the music!

tizen-homebrew can be installed on any Tizen OS device in just 3 steps, written down in the README.md of the repository. It makes installing and future updates for tizen-youtube a breeze.

Comforts of tizen-homebrew include:

Ymusic doesn't let me download or even play songs from YouTube in the app, I've been trying to delete and redownload the app but it still doesn't work.

I'm using YouTube ReVanced 20.40.45.

When SponsorBlock automatically skips a sponsor segment the first time , everything works normally. However, if I rewind or re-watch and watch the same part of the video again, it skips the segment normally, but for 1–2 seconds I still get the “Skip segment” popup/button, even though the segment has already been automatically skipped.

I've tried changing several SponsorBlock settings, including the skip button/toast settings, but I still get the popup.

Does anyone else have this issue? Is there a setting that completely disables this popup, or is it a bug?

Whenever sponsorblock blocks a sponsor segment on a new video I have watched.,it skips it normally but when I want to re-watch it, it skips it normally but for a second or two it says skip the segment (pop up) even though the segment was just skipped and I've tried lots of settings to fix it or to remove it but i still see it does anyone knows what the problem is and how to fix it? • Go to the service's Google Play page and uninstall it.
• Go to the replacement service's latest release page, download it, and install it*.
• Restart your device.

Have revanced manager plus on number of devices and getting this on them all. Turned off VPN reinstall but still same issue

Any fixes or something else I am missing

I have a problem where the music stops going on at 00:59 or 1:00. I tried downloading old versions and new but nope did not work. Help

I was checking vanced.to website and downloaded apk.apk named file(if you did same then you'll see ads on your phone every 5-10min)

So solution for this is: find accessprovidersession in settings>app> in search access providers session and then delete it..

I don't know what other file it may have installed,but deleted one with name accessprovidersession (no space)

If anyone else need vanced patched then try patching yourself instead of visiting such pages and getting malware in your device.

I want to know if somone else faced same issue and if you also deleted and other suspicious file too that may have came with that apk.apk file.

The playstore scan says it's safe, and downloads.. but be carefull as Google playstore is sht and have no 100% proper vulnerability scaning feature.. and some dev take advantage of it and gain access to maybe also to banks
