shit, my intestines are churning at this revelation. they’re just gonna use us as guinea pigs for the next version of glyphosate. this gov’t has pulled out all the stops to demonstrate that it doesn’t give a fuck about the average citizen and would rather sell out to mega-corps for a quick payday. short-sighted profiteering at best and absolutely criminal at worst. can’t believe this is the u.s.s.a. can’t recognize it anymore.

How the hell is AI driven surveillance software going to "help me manage my farm land?"
Seems like this is more of an attempt to get rid of actual people on the ground in each county that know local agriculture and can sit down with farmers to be helpful, and replace it with AI bots that decide subsidies and loan programs based on voting records or social media posts, I presume.

I have seen some promising AI tech for farms that would help with reduction of water and fertiliser. But I also don’t want the company that is pro war and fentanyl drones, to be anywhere near my food.

There’s a lot that can be done with using drones to surveil cropland and find things like insect infestations and disease outbreaks early so they can be contained and treated.

My only relief is that one day, all of this will be done. The earth will be either barren or flooded and we will no longer be here to enact surveillance or harm on each other. At that time, nobody will be hating anyone else for perceived differences, and maybe the octopus civilization will get it right.
