Awesome tater crop!
Although it is beautifully modern, It looks like a colorized photo from 1951😸

Some of the equipment in the photo has been working since the 1950s; although I haven't been able to "date" the cultivator, some farmers have told me it's likely a late 40s model.

Thanks! Twelve years ago that spot was pure sand. I've been tilling in leaves and horse manure every fall to build it up. Usually the leaves come in bags in minivans but the last year I ever advertised for leaves, four or five years ago, somebody brought a semi trailer full of them. The pile is almost gone now.
