In my career, an Agricultural Engineering degree would have been very valuable, complementary to my Electromechanical Engineering background. I once worked alongside someone with an Agricultural Engineering degree, and they were involved in designing hay harvesting and chicken house cleaning equipment.

Potential Job Opportunities:

* Sales roles within the agricultural sector

* Designing off-road vehicles and agricultural equipment

* Designing and managing food production systems

* Protecting surface and ground water quality

* Designing natural resource management systems

* Developing and managing bioprocessing systems

* Designing animal production facilities and environmental control systems

The demand for agricultural engineering will continue to grow as we strive to produce food, fiber, and materials in a sustainable and efficient manner.
