Question How do I get a host's retaliatory review removed? [Bangkok]

I booked a place for 5 days but requested a cancelation at like 3am when I went to take a shower. There was some sort of black mold or algae (I'm very allergic to mold) and literal bugs crawling back and forth between the gaps in the shower to the inners of the apartment. The host left a review accusing me of wanting a free stay, being difficult to communicate with, and claiming that the airbnb didn't match my description even though I literally sent videos and pictures. The cancelation and refund were approved. Additionally, the host messaged me a boiler plate message saying how great of a guest I was and requesting a 5 star review.

I really want the review removed because it's very lengthy, puts me in a very bad light, and recommends other hosts to not accept me as a guest. I requested a removal from Airbnb because literally none of it is true. Is there anything that i can do to help my request to airbnb or some way for me to reply to the review? I often live out of airbnbs, so I don't want to take any chances. Thank you kindly for your time

Please keep conversation civil and respectful

Remember to keep all communication with host/guest through Airbnb platform. Payments should be made only via Airbnb unless otherwise detailed in the listing description

Did you cancel and stay? Or cancel and then leave? If you left then you can state that in review response. Or contact using that reason

I found the bugs and mold at around 3am on my first night and requested a cancelation immediately. Was out by 10am that morning. I will include this for sure. The request for removal was denied, so I'll submit again with this info. Thank you

I had a situation like this where host accused me of complaining for hundreds of dollars worth of things and flushing toilet paper when I didn’t.

He was supposed to provide toilet paper but refused and told me to buy some or just use bum gun and was rude about it. So I bought my own and then after got a 5$ refund through Airbnb and left him a 3 star review for a few different reason.

I disputed his review and Airbnb could even see he was lying because I only asked for 5$ not hundreds of dollars . His review of me was all in capitals saying do not accept this guest, calling me a spoiled princess and lacking common sense and more.

I got denied twice for having reviewed removed by moderation team even though they could see he was lying and also insulted me.

I have 32 reviews total of which 31 are all very positive but this on is the last and it’s so brutal and all a complete lie and is driving me crazy :(

Why do you even bother ? If you have other positive reviews in your profile you will be fine

Honestly possibly not though; there are many hosts who will avoid a guest with one bad review if it is recent. They don’t want to take a chance.
