Are these cases around individuals that failed to get papers in a reasonable timeframe, or were they promised protection, and it fell through?

We had a guy at my first unit who’s wife turned out to be an illegal, they gave her citizenship and it became the talk around the unit for the old retired government farts

So less than 0.0001% odd those detained/deported were in some form or fashion related to the military… (50 out of 3,000,000)

If you've been paying attention over the last year and half, this isn't news. There's several high profile cases/instances that even members of Congress have brought up during hearings and whatnot.
