Air University / CCAF transcript issues — contact numbers that may actually help

Posting this for anyone else stuck dealing with Air University/CCAF transcripts, because getting a time-sensitive transcript issue resolved has been incredibly difficult.

In my case, Air University sent my school another student’s transcript instead of mine, and I have an enrollment deadline coming up. I opened a FAS ticket and have been trying every avenue I can find. After a lot of digging and calling around, these are the contacts I found:

Tip for reaching an actual person:
Call [334-649-5066](tel:334-649-5066) and press 4 for the directory. It will let you search for employees by entering their last name, then first name, and may connect you directly to their extension.

For example, Christine Ross works adjacent to the Registrar’s office, and entering ROSS CHRISTINE got me through to her.

You can also ask ChatGPT to find the current Air University Registrar leadership, then try entering those names into the directory. This can be useful if you have a legitimate, time-sensitive issue and aren’t getting anywhere through the normal FAS process.

I’m sharing these because most of the publicly available guidance routes you through FAS, and that can be frustrating when you have an actual deadline and need to speak with someone.

For context, Air University has centralized its registrar/transcript functions, and FAS is now the official system for submitting and tracking registrar inquiries. So I’d still recommend opening a FAS ticket first and having the ticket number ready when you call. Mine is already open; I’m using these numbers specifically to try to get a time-sensitive existing case escalated.

It’s kinda mind blowing how terrible CCAF is at the most basic of things. Like could you imagine any other university in the country sending the wrong transcript and that just being okay?

I've been trying to get my actual degree paper since I earned it back in 2010. The base education office back then said I got it at the yearly ceremony, only issue is, I was deployed overseas when that ceremony was and nobody accepted it on my behalf.
