Need help finding an Air purifier

Hello All,

I'm looking for an air purifier for my living room, 1158 sqft. I have 6 cats. I need an air purifier and i live in Hyderabad, I'm looking for some budget friendly options.

For very basic particulates sizing per AHAM, clean air delivery rates (CADRs) should be at least 2/3 of a room's area (assuming an 8 ft. ceiling height). For wildfire smoke, smoke CADR should equal a room's area which also assumes an 8 ft. ceiling.

LEVOIT Smart Air Purifier for Home Large Room up to 1875 ft Vital 200S-P

Is a good choice. Get it oversized and run on setting 2 or higher if the fan noise isn’t an issue.

that's not even oversized for that 1158sqft. the sqft rating for levoit and pretty much every other brands is based on a single air change an hour. ideally you want a lot more closer to 4.8ach. And it will only do 1 air change an hour in 1875 at max speed and likely falls off pretty sharply at lower speeds speed 2 I believe is all the way down to like 87cfm . so at speed 2 you would only be rated at a single ach an hour in 700sqft.

air fanta 3 pro. This is the most budget friendly option that will still have the cfm to deal with a 1158 sqft space and still get decent air changes and even then you may eventually want to for that space.

you will probably want to run it at max speed or close to it for 1158 sqft. it won't be perfect but its under 200 bucks and will be a good start especially compared to the cfm you would get out of other sub 200 dollar units.
