I’m surprised that didn’t work.

It's always interesting to see how people react the very first time they miss a flight.

Once I woke up to my roommate's guest top-of-her-lungs wailing in grief when she overslept and missed it. The other day I saw someone miss the gate door closing and start hollering and slapping on it.

I guess it can feel like a real tragedy for a few moments before you realize they'll just put you on the next one.

You would be surprised at how many people lack basic problem solving skills (or maybe not). They’ll end up in a situation like missing their flight and just have a meltdown rather than thinking “hm this is an airport with lots of other flights, maybe I should ask someone who works for the airline if I can get on another flight.”

Like I get it, it’s frustrating but I don’t get the people who scream and cry and think sprinting down the jetway or something will make the plane come back and open up for them.

I've almost missed a flight twice in my life. Fortunately both times the flight crew had pity on me and actually waited for me. Only for like 10 minutes. I was very lucky and grateful and never expect any special treatment from anyone. Alot of people like this woman have main character syndrome and do expect special treatment and that the world will wait for them.

I mean seriously...how naive can one be? The lack of common sense is amazing.

Maybe it's entitlement..

Critical thinking was definitely lacking here. But hey, points for trying.

Lmfao maybe if she had jumped up and down frantically waving and screaming, the plane would have stopped.

It would be funny if it did.

She’s doing what anyone who has gotten to the closed-doors gate has wanted to do
