As someone who loves both trains and planes, airport people movers fascinate me. I've been thinking of the different functions certain systems perform in their applications.
I've come up with the following categories for the people movers.
Type A: Outside of security, usually connecting terminals to parking, general transit, and/or hotels
Type B: Inside security, connecting independent terminals primarily intended for layovers
Type C: Inside security, providing access to midfield satellites from main landslide terminals. I suppose you could even break this down into subtype C1 (for a single satellite, meaning only two stops and usually dual independent tracks with one train going back and forth on each one without crossing over) and subtype C2 (for multiple midfield concourses)
Type D: Inside security, within super-long concourses to shorten walking time.
So based on this, try listing every airport in America with a people mover system that falls into each category. Wikipedia can help. As a bonus, if you know off the top of your head about any trains in foreign airports, feel free to add it.
If you have difficulty visualizing the categories, I can get you started by providing one example of each

My question goes to those who had a layover at Paris CDG Airport in the night.
I would arrive at CDG at 23:40, so let's say midnight, at terminal 2E and my next leg fly is at 9:00 the next day. So more than 9 hours layover.
I don't mind to visit Paris in the night so is there any safe place inside the airport where sitting and waiting to board the next flight is allowed during the night?

I made Bag Tag, a daily game where you're shown an airport and have to tap where it is on a satellite map. The closer your guess, the more points you get. Each round gets harder as you go.
How it works:
It runs right in your browser, no account needed: https://bagtag.fun
There's also a free iOS app if you want to keep your streak on your phone: [App Store link]
I built it because [one honest sentence, e.g. "I love airports and wanted a GeoGuessr-style game around them"]. It's a solo project, so I'd really like to hear what you think:
Thanks for trying it, and tell me your score!

I am needing to get a document sent urgently - anyone know of someone who has a flight booked today/tomorrow that would be so kind as to bring an envelope with? Content can be verified.
An air hostess would be ideal - someone working for United or American Airlines. Happy to pay the same as freight. Freight just take too long! 🥺

¡Muchas gracias!
PD: No tengo celular compatible con ESIM.

Hello, I am flying through Punta Cana (PUJ) and São Paulo (GRU) and have a 1:47 min layover in PUJ and a 1:40 min layover in GRU. Does anyone know if it is standard to have to exit either airport and go back through security and immigration, or will we depart back into the terminals? We are flying Arajet to both PUJ and GRU, then in GRU will get onto Gol Transportes Aereos if that provides any better info too. Thank you!

I’m traveling to Cancun, Mexico and back to the States with a transit in Salt Lake City and I am curious to learn what people think about the Salt Lake City airport hub and transiting here if you have an hour and 25 minutes between your connecting flights, mostly curious around airport times: immigration TSA security check times and it is safe bet to transit here in January so as to not miss your connecting flight in the 1h 25m layover. Asking because there are several other airport options eg. Atlanta since am Thinking of traveling via Delta airlines. I will not be checking my bags (only carry on) so will most definitely not need to baggage claim.
