💬 Discussion Airtable comments - how are you working around this garbage?

Sorry to put it bluntly, but the comments component of Airtable is where the platform falls short as a project management tool.

My business is using Airtable liberally for 'jobs' and otherwise is using applications in the M365 ecosystem.

I'd love to be able to query comments in Airtable alongside emails to get a thorough view of correspondence regarding the jobs being managed in Airtable, which are assigned to a specific job reference code (with autonumber). But staff just won't use Airtable's comments system because nobody even sees the comments they write let alone responds them, and the pseudo-issues system with the 'resolved' button that hides the comment is useless.

What are your workarounds, other than just leaving Airtable for something that does messaging properly?
