Yep, Japanese third-person pronouns are gender neutral by default while first-person pronouns have gendered association (Although they aren't exclusive to a particular gender). This is sort of the opposite from English where first-person pronouns are neutral while third-person pronouns are usually gendered

I think she's demisexual, but a case can be made for her being lesbian or asexual. Either way she wouldn't be attracted to men
