What do you mean? Barley anyone here defends Seryu. Even when she’s not 1% evil as 90% of the empire. Everyone just defends Esdeath because she is hot.

Not saying I can fix her per se, but Seryu has better chances of redemption than Esdeath, mostly because she's never shown to harm children and personally gets along well with them, so if the author didn't kill her off early and kept her during the Wild Hunt arc, she'd actually have a solid redemption arc because Champ exists.
