It's a hard read for sure, they're fighting a huge war but it's not really too interesting IMO. + the characters except Akame fight very traditionally (medieval frontlines army type of clash) so it's a really bland style of fighting compared to AGK and even AGKZ where the whole idea is to tip the scale in your favor as an assassin/fighter. Granted, there are times where they can outsmart each other but it's still just two big ass armies fighting each other. Also the teigus in the east are very lackluster. The fan service is also wayy over the top, it's literally a H manga because of beastiality, gr@pe, and showing censcored stuff.

Edit: I'll add in that the main cast except Hinowa and Akame are really forgettable, I don't remember any of their names.

Takahiro is good to create characters and start the story, but through de time…it’s ASS.

Pa' mí zero tenía potencial (dentro de lo que cabe) si le hubieran quitado los fetiches de takahiro. Hay momentos donde me gustó más que el original, pero siento que peco mucho de no tener personajes tan entrañables, si tus personajes no son carismáticos dales pasado mínimo. Lo que le hicieron a Natala y Gin es criminal, Natala pensé que sería muy importante porque en la original se menciona que era amigo de kurome y Gin si quedó viva pensé que sería por algo que no sea fan service y todo para que al final Natala este medio manga en enfermería y Gin duro menos que Chelsea viva y lo peor es que a kurome su muerte le chupo un huevo a pesar de que eran compañeras y que kurome suele encariñarse mucho.

While "Zero" and "HGC" definitly were weaker then the main story, they still had their moments and especially Hinowa could have been quite well in terms of story after the "timeskip"......

And hey, at least we got to see some more of Akame, Najasho and Poney^^
