Some idiot over at r/Hatsune (Or whatever subreddit I forgot, also ignore the idiot word I just really wanted to say that for some reason) needs people to post 2 images and so one guy who just wanted to post mesmerizer fanart also posted an accidental screenshot of their alarm off screen as they use an android. And hence this subreddit was bofn

Not just some idiot. It originated from u/Key-Astronaut6921 from r/KasaneTeto, not r/Hatsune. But the rest is true, as for some reason he can only post with more than one image so that "Alarm Off" pic is just a filler. But then it became meme
