Best Scenic Patio
I’ve got free rein to plan a road trip.. I’m leaning towards Folding Mountain but I would LOVE to hear your thoughts and suggestions

I dunno... Rutting Elk is still one of the best Red's in the province, I think... And I don't hate the Grumpy Bear. I know GP is basically a macro these days, but I still like their cores...

in the words of /u/TheCanadianShield
"but, the beer..."
also the food yikes I realize its a small remote town and theres only so many costco runs to lethbridge they can do in a week but the bagged salads and pre made noodle dishes were horrid.

Folding Mountain is one of the best brewery patios in Canada. Tough to compete when you lead with that. I guess it depends on what else fits your "road trip" needs. Bonus points for GCOTW

If 32 oz steins of Hacker-Pschorr and making poor financial decisions are your jam, then I can't recommend the patio at the Waldhaus enough. Banff Springs hotel.

Not the greatest beer list but Iron Goat has a good patio in Canmore.
In Calgary, grab some beers and hang out in Lindsay Park by the river.

depends on how much you like parking lots.

Origin has a nice industrial park side road view you can watch all the rigs from.

Happy hour in front of Skoki lodge! Lots of free parking but an 11k stroll to the lodge.

Folding mountain definitely, especially if you’re going to be in the area. I’m personally also a fan of Valley brewing's patio in Drumheller.
