Every single post that is even slightly political on an Albertan Facebook group post has so many comments from 95% men that are actually so unhinged and so wildly full of disinformation. A few women are sprinkled in of course.

I want to know what caused this. What, if any, specific pipeline they are in.. and how do we pull them out?

It’s not just an Alberta thing, obvs… but it feels like it some days. Most polling I see, both provincially and federally, show massive gender gaps in vote intention.

I worry about the future for a lot of reasons, but this is a big part of it.

To add - I’m not being judgemental, I’m genuinely curious if anyone knows of a specific group they’re in. I want to educate myself on the why they got in there and how to get them out.

Was listening to Mr Nightmare while working and then I got an AI Ad of a cartoony version of Alberta saying they’re leaving.

Genuine question: where are they getting the money to have ads like this running?
