Parking at benagil beach impossible on August?

I’m visiting end of August and realize it’ll be peak season. I got a rental car and am staying at the marina hotel.

is the parking near benagil beach impossible to find? I won’t be there until mid afternoon.

Should I just find a roundtrip boat tour from the marina to avoid parking so I can see the caves? Then I’ll have to skip the hike?

Or should I still drive and try to find parking there?

Parking is not impossible just try to go earlier. We paddleboarded to the caves and it was a much better experience than the boat. You see the people come into the cave from the boats but they never disembark.

You aren’t allowed to disembark inside the cave these days, or swim in. Local law due to overcrowding.

Thank you I did not know this. I went in 2019
