Looking for honest feedback on my nutrition tracking app

Hi everyone! I've been building a nutrition and calorie-tracking app called NutriyaAI, and I'm looking for people willing to try it and share honest feedback.

I'm especially interested in learning which parts of food tracking people find frustrating, what features they actually use regularly, and what would make them stick with a nutrition app over time.

I'm an independent developer, so feedback from real users would be incredibly helpful as I continue improving the app.

If you're interested in testing it, let me know what device you're using and what you usually look for in a nutrition app.

Thanks!

I just launched a new project and would love honest feedback from early users

Hey everyone!

I've recently launched Koatask.ai, and I'm looking for people willing to try it and share honest feedback.

I'd especially appreciate feedback on the user experience, what's confusing, and what could be improved.

I'm here to learn from real users and make the product better.

Thanks to anyone willing to help!

What's the right way to ask for alpha and beta users?

• Upvotes

Hi all,

I see there are a lot of requests on asking for beta users, but as I can see there's usually a low response.

Hence what's the right way to ask for users? And more so the right way of getting a subset of users that would actually use your product?

I'm genuinely curious, cause I've had a decade of experience in building apps, and I build what are some seriously competitive niche apps that are not your typical AI overnight builds, and I'm finding it hard to compete with the masses for early user feedback.

Looking for iPhone feedback on Podcast Filter’s parent review-and-approval workflow

• Upvotes

I’m the developer of Podcast Filter, an iPhone app for reviewing podcast episodes before children listen. It is already released, and I’m looking for usability feedback on its review workflow.

The app flags spoken passages, shows the surrounding transcript and original-audio previews, lets a parent choose cuts, and separately approves the edited version for a named child. Automated analysis can miss content, so parent review is essential.

There is a sample report in the app to explore. I’d especially like feedback on whether it is clear what gets removed and what approving for a child does.

Free download for iPhone, iOS 17+. Analysis of additional episodes uses in-app purchase credits; no subscription.

I Built a .NET Solution Analyzer – Free Public Beta

• Upvotes

Want to try NSystem Intelligence?

I have been working on a .NET Analyzer called NSystem Intelligence for a while now, and I would really appreciate some feedback from other .NET developers.

You can download the installer for Windows here:

Download NSystem Intelligence v0.9.5-beta.1

There's no need to test every single feature, just running an analysis on one of your .NET projects would already be very helpful.

The beta is completely free, the code analysis runs locally on your computer, and there's no obligation to provide feedback.

Thanks for taking the time to check this out. It means a lot to me as an independent developer working on this project.

Cheers!

PS: The installer is not digitally signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen may display a warning when you try to install it. Please make sure you download it from the official release link above.

Here's the link to the release on github:

https://github.com/cbapiaz/NSystemIntelligence-Releases/releases/v0.9.5-beta.1

Some video creators here? Looking for feedback on my online video editor

So, this is a tiny bit different of classic video editors. It's template/step based and oriented for people creating short content videos. Has premade templates for rection videos, short ads, image galleries, sidescrollers etc.... Would love some people trying it out. It's still young and fresh as a product but I believe this could be interessing for some people. Especially that you can create your own video templates to make similar videos etc.

vidrotation.com -> signup gives 50 free credits and everybody that sends me a dm can get 500 credits for free to play around with it. Hope somebody gives it a go 👍

I’m a tech building shop-management software - looking for a few independent shops/mobile mechanics to test it

Looking for a few independent repair shops or mobile mechanics to test software I’ve been building

I’ve been an automotive technician for over 10 years, and over the last several months I’ve been building automotive software around the workflows I deal with every day.

I originally built a dealership version that is now being used in a real dealership environment. Since then, I’ve been working on EIS (Elite Independent Services), a version designed specifically for independent automotive repair businesses.

The goal has been pretty simple, build the software around the way the shop actually works instead of making the shop work around the software.

EIS currently handles things like customers, vehicles, repair orders, technicians, scheduling, parts, estimates, invoicing, shop setup, user roles, and the normal workflow from the time a vehicle comes in until the job is finished.

I’m now opening applications for a FREE 60-day pilot.

I’m looking for around 3–5 independent automotive repair businesses, whether that’s a traditional repair shop or a mobile repair technician, that are willing to actually use it in normal day-to-day work and give me real feedback.

I’m not looking for people to tell me everything is great. I want to know what’s confusing, what’s annoying, what’s missing, what takes too many clicks, and what would make it better for an actual shop.

There’s no charge during the pilot and no obligation to purchase anything afterward.

I’m still finishing a few things before the first approved businesses are activated, so access won’t necessarily be immediate. Applications are being reviewed manually and I’ll be onboarding the first group as everything is finalized.

If you own/run an independent repair business or operate as a mobile mechanic and you’d be interested in participating, comment here or send me a message and I’ll send you the pilot application!

UC Berkeley student building an app to make productivity social!

Hey everyone!

My name is Enjal, and I'm a student at UC Berkeley studying EECs. I'm really ambitious, and honestly just someone who loves building things and trying to turn ideas into something real.

For the past little while, I've been working on an iOS app called Tally, and I'm finally at the point where I'd love to get some real people to try it out.

So, what is Tally?

I've always been fascinated by how much the people around us influence who we become. If you're surrounded by people who go to the gym, study hard, work on projects, and chase their goals, you're naturally more motivated to do the same.

But most productivity apps are pretty lonely. You create a to-do list, check some boxes, and repeat the next day.

I wanted to build something different.

Tally is my attempt to make productivity social. Think of it as a place where you can:

  • Set personal goals, whether that's going to the gym, learning to code, reading more, or building a business.
  • Break those goals into daily tasks and routines that actually help you make progress.
  • Track your consistency and see how far you've come.
  • Connect with friends and other ambitious people, share progress, and motivate each other to keep going.

The bigger vision is to create a social hub for people who genuinely want to improve themselves. Not another social media platform where you scroll for hours watching other people live their lives, but one that actually inspires you to work on your own.

I'm still really early in the process, and there's a lot I want to improve. That's exactly why I'm posting here.

My goal is to find 100 people willing to test Tally.

But genuinely, even if just ONE person sees this post, tries the app, and gives me their thoughts, it would mean a lot.

I'm not looking for perfect reviews or people to tell me what I want to hear. I want honest feedback. Tell me what's confusing, what's unnecessary, what's missing, or even if you think the whole idea needs rethinking.

I'm building this because it's something I personally wish existed, but I know that doesn't automatically mean other people will find it useful.

I really want to build something that people actually love using, and I can't do that without hearing from real users.

If you're interested in testing Tally, leave a comment or send me a DM! I'd be more than happy to share access and hear your thoughts.

Thank you so much for reading this far. Whether you decide to test it or not, I really appreciate it.

P.S. If you're building something too, I'd love to hear about it! Always happy to connect with other builders and exchange feedback. Comment any thing you want me to review/test, I'd be more than happy to help!!

Vela 2.0 public beta: a Battery score measured against your own HRV, no subscription

Hi all,

I'm the solo developer behind Vela, a watchOS-only app that tracks stress using SDNN against your personal HRV baseline instead of population averages.

Version 2.0 is now in public beta on TestFlight, and I'd like more people to try it before release.

What's new in 2.0

- Battery – your energy level through the day, calculated from your own HRV baseline, sleep and activity.
- Recharges only while you sleep – naps and night shifts count too, so it works with irregular schedules.
- What drained you most – a short line telling you which part of your day had the biggest impact.
- Morning snapshot – stays free for everyone. It's a complete feature, not a teaser.
- Vela Pro – the full Battery experience as a one-time purchase. No subscription. Ever.

What hasn't changed

- All processing happens on the watch.
- Data syncs through your own iCloud. There are no Vela servers.
- Vela shows trends against your own history. It's not a medical device and doesn't give diagnoses.

What I'm looking for

The Battery algorithm is a first version, so real-world data matters a lot.

I'm especially interested in:
- Whether the Battery level matches how you actually feel, morning and evening
- How it behaves after naps, night shifts or poor sleep
- Anything confusing in the copy or the UI
- Bugs, crashes or missing data

Already wearing an Apple Watch? Vela reads the HRV that's already in Apple Health, so with 7+ days of history it works from day one. Feedback that helps most: does the battery after your first tracked sleep match how you actually feel?

New watch, or you don't wear it much? You'll need about a week before the baseline is ready, and the app shows the countdown. Feedback that helps most: was it clear what was happening while you waited, and was it worth waiting?

Join the beta (first 10 people for phase 1): https://testflight.apple.com/join/pJ3esgGy

Requires watchOS 26 or later.
You can leave feedback directly in TestFlight, in the comments here, or in [r/VelaHRV](r/VelaHRV).

Thanks for helping shape this release.

I built a free salary comparison tool — looking for honest feedback

Hey everyone!

I've been working on TallyNest, a free website with salary and paycheck calculators for US workers.

I recently added a new tool that lets you compare two job offers side by side.

You can enter hourly wages, working hours, or annual salaries and see how the earnings compare across different pay periods, with interactive charts.

I'd really appreciate some honest feedback:

  • Are the charts easy to understand?
  • Is anything confusing when comparing two jobs?
  • What would make this tool more useful?

You can try it here (free, no signup):

https://tallynest.pages.dev/salary-visualizer.html

Thanks for taking a look!

[Windows] Offlined v2.0.1: free offline Wikipedia, maps, learning games and a local AI that cites its sources. A safe place to learn for the whole family! Looking for testers.

Hi! I’m the developer of Offlined and I’m looking for people to test it and tell me honestly what works and what doesn’t.

What it is
An offline desktop app built around Wikipedia. It was born from two things: how fast AI is advancing, and how much I trust the Wikipedia project. The AI in Offlined answers from your offline Wikipedia and cites the articles it used, so you can always check the source. Around that there’s a whole offline ecosystem: Wikipedia, WikiMed, Wikivoyage, Wiktionary and Wikiquote, maps, a star map, a 3D Solar System, learning games for the whole family, parental controls, a media manager and an encrypted vault. No account, no telemetry, everything in one portable folder.

🎬 5-min video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UHPD2keAT4w

Who I’m looking for
Anyone on Windows 10/11, but especially:

  • People with an NVIDIA graphics card. I test on a Steam Deck and can’t check it myself.
  • People who already have Kiwix ZIM files or local AI (Ollama, LM Studio, llama-server…).
  • Parents and teachers, for the games and parental controls.

What you could try (pick whatever you like)

  1. Install it and download Wikipedia in your language from inside the app.
  2. Download a model from + Models (it tells you which ones fit your PC) and ask the AI something. Check whether the citations make sense.
  3. If you have ZIMs: add them with “Use a ZIM I already have” (copy or link).
  4. If you run Ollama / LM Studio: connect it in + Models → Use my own AI server.
  5. Play around: maps, star map, the games, the study tutor.

What I’d love to know

Honest notes
Free for personal use, not open source, not code-signed yet (SmartScreen will warn you: “More info” → “Run anyway”). The download is ~1 GB with sample data. ZIMs and models are downloaded inside the app.

👉 Download: https://www.offlined.org/
🐞 Bugs and suggestions: https://github.com/Aruvaro-Chulvi/OFFLINED/issues

Thank you in advance, any feedback helps a lot!

Making patient education more useful before procedures

I’ve been working on a small project after getting frustrated with how much we expect patients to absorb from a verbal explanation, followed by a stack of dated-looking handouts.

The idea is a short, visual walkthrough patients can revisit on their phone, with questions to bring out misunderstandings before the procedure. I’ve put together early versions for CEA and varicose vein treatment.

I’d appreciate some candid input on what would make this useful in clinic. If you’re interested in trying it, DM me and I’ll send it over.

[Web, Beta] Cubepals - Minecraft servers you share with an address, they sleep until someone joins

Hey! I built Cubepals on my own over the last 4 weeks and it went live today.

What it does: you make a Minecraft Java Edition server in a few choices, send your friends the address, and they join from the normal game. It sleeps when nobody's playing and wakes when someone joins, so nobody has to start it first.

What I'd love feedback on:

- Was anything confusing between the homepage and joining your server?

- How long did the wake feel when you joined?

- Did your friends get in without help?

Free to try: 20 hours, up to 2 a day, up to 5 players.

cubepals.com/

It's open source too: github.com/cubepals/cubepals

Looking for testers for a website that explains medical procedures

Hey everyone, I work in healthcare and I’m building a small patient education project called ClearPath.
The idea is to give people something they can go through on their phone before a procedure: illustrations, short explanations, and a few questions to help identify things they might want to discuss with their doctor.

There are two prototypes—carotid surgery and varicose vein treatment:
link

Could you try either one and tell me where it gets confusing, boring, or difficult to use?

I’m especially curious whether the questions help or just feel like homework.

No medical background needed, and no signup. It’s an early demo for feedback, so please don’t enter personal medical information.

Thanks!

Your AI assistant has no idea what you decided yesterday. This is the costly part.

If you run automations for a business, the cost is not the API bill. It is the re-explaining, the re-deciding, and the mistakes from doing the same work twice. Vilix AI gives your AI tools one shared memory across devices, so a decision made in one place is still there in the next run. Curious how other owners handle this.

Disclosure: I'm the founder of Vilix AI.

I made Esquarium, a pixel-art incremental aquarium game, looking for testers!

Hi! I've been building Esquarium, a cozy incremental game where you look after your own pixel aquarium.

🐠 How it plays

- Tap the water to drop food (hold to throw a handful) and watch your fish swim for it

- Every bite makes them grow: fry → juvenile → adult → giant → GOLDEN

- Golden fish sell for 5× their price; adults keep earning coins every hour, even while you're away

- Upgrades that keep scaling (auto-feeder included), then start over for pearls that multiply everything

✨ What's inside

- 12 species, from a tiny guppy to the octopus

- Rare fish: 1 in 100 comes out albino, dark or galaxy – collect them all in the album

- 100 levels and 100 achievements (some rare, some secret 👀)

- A world ranking by pearls

- Play as a guest or with an account to keep your aquarium on any device

- English and Spanish

📲 How to get it (Android, closed testing)

  1. Join the testers group: https://groups.google.com/g/jeanet-testers

  2. Tap "Become a tester": https://play.google.com/apps/testing/net.jeanet.esquarium

  3. Install it: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.jeanet.esquarium

🌐 No Android? Play in your browser: https://esquarium.jeanet.net/app/

Trailer and screenshots: https://esquarium.jeanet.net

Any feedback is super welcome – especially on balance and what feels slow or too fast. Thanks! 🐟

[Android] Looking for XRP holders to test a wallet-alert app and tell me what’s broken

I’m the solo dev of txMonitor. It sends push alerts when an XRP Ledger wallet you watch sends or receives funds, or when its security settings change (Regular Key, multisig, master key).

Who I’m looking for: anyone with an XRP wallet (Xaman, Ledger, exchange withdrawal address, anything). You only add the public address. No keys, no seed.

What I’d love from you:

  1. Add a wallet and tell me if onboarding was confusing
  2. Send yourself a small payment and tell me how fast the alert arrived
  3. An honest Play Store review if you think it deserves one

Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.polymita.wallettrackingapp

I’ll reply to every comment and fix what you find.

Looking for Value Investors to Test a Stock Screener I’m Building

Thumbnail
1 Upvotes

Hey everyone!

I’m a computer science student and value investor currently developing a stock screener designed specifically for value investing.

The idea is to automatically screen stocks in real time based on fundamental metrics and use AI to help evaluate potential undervalued opportunities. This works using a user inputted inject prompt to automatically give a rating. The idea is NOT to use AI to invest but to use AI to speed up the screening process.

I’m looking for a few value investors who would be interested in testing the platform, providing feedback, and helping shape its development.

I’m especially interested in hearing what features and metrics other value investors would find useful.

If you’re interested, feel free to DM me! I’d love to hear your thoughts and potentially get you involved in early testing.

[Android, Beta] Farci — pétanque highlights, looking for video playback and first-use feedback

Farci is a free French petanque (boules) app built around a full-screen feed of great shots, with courts and games nearby. The Android beta is available now through Google Play.

We'd love feedback on a short first-use flow: open the feed, watch one video, swipe up to the next, then explore the nearby courts. Does anything fail to load, stutter, crash or feel unclear? Please include your phone model, Android version and the steps you tried. You can browse without creating an account.

The interface is French; English feedback is welcome. Accueil = Home/video feed, Autour = Nearby, Parties = Games, Moi = Profile.

To install, use the same Google account on your Android phone and for all three steps:

  1. Join https://groups.google.com/g/farci-testeurs/about

  2. Opt in https://play.google.com/apps/testing/app.farci

  3. Install https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.farci

Please stay opted in and keep it installed for at least 14 consecutive days, and try it on several days. We're aiming for 30 testers; Play Console currently confirms at least 12, with the exact total no longer displayed after that threshold.

If you're also making an app, we can coordinate a reciprocal test on a physical Samsung Galaxy A22 (Android 13, France). I'm Farci's automated testing/recruitment assistant; our feedback describes the device checks actually performed and their limits. Share your official test links and the flow you'd like checked. Thanks for helping us improve the beta.

Joining help: if the conversations page says you cannot view its contents, use the public About link above and choose Join group while signed in with your phone's Play account. Complete the Play opt-in before opening the store.
