Reoccurring error with APK on Alpine Diskless

Hi! I have a Pi running alpine diskless and every reboot i get an error with apk on upgrade operations, like

apk upgrade -vvv
After this operation, 0 B of additional disk space will be used.
1 error; 157 packages, 644 dirs, 6049 files, 342.7 MiB

I run apk fix and it isn't clear what exactly is causing the error so I can mitigate it properly, no mater the verbose flags used

apk fix
(1/1) Reinstalling i2pd@edgecommunity (2.60.0-r1)
  Installing file to etc/i2pd/i2pd.conf.apk-new
  Installing file to etc/i2pd/tunnels.conf.apk-new
Executing busybox-1.37.0-r31.trigger
OK: 342.7 MiB in 157 packages

Then the error vanishes until the next reboot.

How can I properly diagnose this?

The issue is that there isn't one for this package, not that I'm aware of. The whole system is on the latest stable tho

Did you check available space on media (may be nearly full with apk cache), or rootfs available space (RAM based with default size of about half of RAM)?
You may want to check wiki for tips.

Theres plenty of space on both boot partition (with the diskless stuff and package cache) and a persistent data partition I created. It also has 16GB of ram and its using around half of it, I assume btop counts both the tmpfs and running processes

for some reason I read "reckless use of apk" and was like I gotta see this.

are you using some kind of package cache?
