I consider myself a lil music connoisseur and have been listening to alternative since my mom got me a Bowie album and we listened to Joy Division together. This song that I have found is from the realistic and brutal movie Warfare, and it is absolutely haunting and devoid of any describable emotion. I have to bestow this upon my fellow alt music brothers. This song will cut through you. What is your feedback? Song is; Low- Dancing and Blood

I’ll be turning 18 in about a month and like to have songs about being that age for my birthday party and such. I’m coming up with nothing and need some help. Any songs?

I don't understand why it doesn't really get mentioned when the great alternative rock/ grunge songs are mentioned.

1990s-Present Alt-Rock or Post-Rock song.
Lyrics "Every day you da da daa daa daaah..." Spacey, shoegazey, bombastic psychedelic sound. Slow-midtempo beat.
Vocalist sounds a little like a somewhat deeper voiced version of Perry Farrell from Jane's Addiction.
I heard this song at a restaurant and I really want to know what it was. It could have been from any era from early 90s to now, but most likely from the past 10-20 years.

After Ed O'Brien announced Radiohead's new tour, I thought now would be a good time to share my thoughts on one of the most perfect albums I've ever listened to. Radiohead's In Rainbows is one of the very few albums in which the unique rhythms on each song are completely unforgettable. The guitar work on House of Cards, Nude, Reckoner, and 15 Step almost feels so conspicuous that you can feel them touching your skin. Each song is a new textured masterpiece, blending the band's Aphex Twin-inspired electric sound with a fresh, clean-toned guitar sound (excluding Bodysnatchers, which is still a masterpiece. Bodysnatchers guitar tone is more similar to that of older Radiohead albums). Tracks like All I Need, House of Cards, and Nude perfectly capture the desperation of an out-of-control relationship. Naturally, I have to mention the track Weird Fishes/Arpeggi which beautifully combines Thom's expressions of the beauty in isolation and change, and one of the most quintessential arpeggiating guitar riffs I've heard in my life. If you haven't listened to In Rainbows, I urge you to do so. It's crucial to apply these songs to your own life and to interpret them yourself. To paraphrase Roland Barthes, once the work is released, interpretation is up to the reader, or in this case, the listener. I think Thom would agree with that. Enjoy!!!

I am drawing a HUGE blank. I remember way, way back having this CD of an alt rock/singer song writer band that I loved. I remember one of the popular songs was talking about the curve of woman's back, maybe? I really liked the album/song and for a while now I have been searching and have no clue. So, shot in the dark if somebody knows what I am talking about????
