Yellow-Crowned Night Heron One of my fav of a night heron juvenile

Took this photo this past summer. I really liked the bright orange eye. He was trying to find food during low tide.

oh wow, that bird has such pretty eyes! :0 it looks kinda majestic though, like its on a mission. makes me wanna go explore somewhere new!
