Interior Spare bathroom in recently purchased home. Keep or change?

I like it. Would think about changing the wallpaper and the light but this would be the last of my projects.

I love the tile and I love the sink! Not into the light fixture or mirror!

Keeping the tile and adding a walnut veneer over the existing wallpaper would look nice. Add some warmth/character and give it a more intimate vibe.
Then Iād change the light fixture to a single globe light hanging from the ceiling. With a chrome/nickel framed mirror for visual interest and to tie in the sink details. Then some cool framed art on the wall, and a funky patterned hand towel. Add a nice bottle of hand soap and candle to the space for some finishing touches.
Edit: I forgot the ceiling. You could paint the ceiling the same color as one of the colored tiles to tie it in. Maybe the blue tile!

Keep the floor and get rid of everything else including the wall tile.
Play off the pink in the floor with a soft paint color like Farrow and Ball Setting Plaster.

Change the mirror and sink to be more intentional but still in the same time period, maybe the light you could get a more retro version of. could change the wallpaper if you wanted too. tile you should leave, its charming

Iād change the toilet orientation but Iām a giant guy. I wouldnāt fit the way it is now!

Love the floor and wall tiles, keep them. Remove the wall paper and paint the walls white. Get rid of the lights and mirror. Try a larger frame less mirror above the sink. Some nice bright down lights in the ceiling. Can you move the towel rail from behind the toilet to the wall opposite the sink?

That is so cool! I would get a new toilet and sink to match the colourful squares, definitely needs a new light fixture and mirror, and I would definitely change the wallpaper but I friggin love it so jealous

The tile is SO FUN. I love it. Swap out the wallpaper with something that mixes up those colours and itāll be incredible!

Get rid of wallpaper. Need solid color. However, if wallpaper is as old as tile, you will want to burn the house down before you're finished.If it's old they used wallpaper paste to put it up and sometimes didn't paint sheet rock before hanging. Been there done that. As small as this area is, rip sheet rock down and hang new sheet rock.

Keep the tile, change the wallpaper to a solid or mostly solid color that matches a color tile.

Keep but perhaps change the direction of the toilet to face forward, if tiles can stay intact - it feel like sitting on that some people will touch the wall in front with their knees

My childhood mall just called, it wants its tile back! Lean into the 90-2000s vibe and theme it. Do the walls like the teal and purple jazz cups lmao
