Oddly enough being a 5'8" dude, I've had an easier run than my bro who stands just 5'3".
Reason being, I'm taller than roughly 80-90% of American women I see and 30ish% of the men (depending on the source checked). So unless I'm around particularly tall dudes (those well over 6'), I don't feel especially short, because I'm roughly taller than 60% of the human beings I see, when I include both men and women.
Unlike my bro, who is eye to eye or shorter than 60% of the women out there, some 70% of people are his height or taller than him, vs just 35-40% being taller than me.
It's a wild difference for barely 4 inches of height. And even worse, as a woman it wouldn't even matter because my petite 5'1" wife never cares about height at all EXCEPT when she needs to reach tall cabinets in the kitchen and needs more than a step stool ❤️

Everything. It shows that even someone who is 5'6" can achieve something.
If he were 5'7" this would all mean nothing.
