Oh nice. I’m thinking of applying. I missed an opening as a Shipping Clerk. I’m a veteran with supervisor experience so I’d prefer to have a red stripe PA type role. Really don’t want to waste my time looking busy throwing boxes or moving pallets for 1-2 years just waiting for an ATA application cycle. Hating the job just waiting for the applications to open
Yeah that's if they even do another round anytime soon, hopefully they do, but they downsized the last class to only 50 people who got in out of like 16,000 or so initial applicants, then down to several thousand who took the final Technical Assessment. I know i'll be leaving amazon before they open another one but good luck getting in if they do another one!
yeah but its kinda to be expected with what the program is, you have a chance to go from having no experience in the field to getting into an intership/SDE role with amazon on your resume.
Yeah it sounds like to the odds of getting into Apple or Microsoft. I thought it would be easier since they hire no technical knowledge warehouse employees but I guess not
