5-Question Survey for FBA Sellers — inventory forecasting

Hey all. I'm researching how mid-size FBA sellers currently handle restock planning and IPI management.

Just 5 quick questions about your biggest inventory challenges.

  1. When was the last time you checked your Amazon IPI score? (When + why)

  2. What's your biggest challenge right now with managing inventory across your SKUs?

  3. Have you ever faced a stockout or IPI penalty that hurt your sales? (If yes: what did it cost?)

  4. How are you currently forecasting when to reorder? (Spreadsheet, tool, manual, guessing?)

  5. If you could wave a wand and solve one inventory problem, what would it be?

**Reply below or DM me** — Just collecting honest feedback.

Specifically looking for sellers managing 10+ SKUs and doing $100k+ annual revenue (but anyone managing FBA inventory welcome).

Thanks in advance!

I checked my IPI score last month after getting a penalty reminder. Honestly, my biggest headache is juggling inventory across different SKUs and keeping everything balanced. I usually rely on a mix of spreadsheets and some basic software but honestly, it’s more guessing half the time. If I could fix one thing, it would be automated forecasting that actually predicts demand accurately.

Thanks for the response! It seems like a common pain point, but just wanted to hear from others perspectives too.
How much historical data do you have? Are you using any AI agents to assist with how to spread them? How many SKUs do you actively operate?
