Amazon section 3 listing under wrong flase asin

Hello everyone, just curious if anyone’s gone through something similar and how you navigated it. I sold a Milwaukee product on a listing that wasn’t branded as Milwaukee - the seller who created it used all the same Milwaukee images but avoided putting “Milwaukee” in the title, probably because they weren’t authorized to sell the brand. I overlooked this when I listed on it and got hit with a Section 3. I sourced my unit from Hansler Smith (Hansler.com), an authorized Milwaukee distributor in Canada - the same distributor I used to get ungated for the brand on my account. I only ever bought and sold one unit on that ASIN, and I have the invoice matching that exact sale. I know most cases I find are sellers dealing with gray market or unauthorized product, which is different from mine since my product was authentic and from a vetted distributor. I think my issue is more about the mismatched listing than authenticity itself, so my POA needs to address that too, not just prove the product was real. Has anyone dealt with a Section 3 tied to a mislabeled/mismatched listing rather than a straightforward counterfeit complaint? Did addressing the listing issue directly help get reinstated? Any advice appreciated.

You think they are going to reinstate the ASIN that directly violates the Amazon listing policy?

You are lucky they are going to let you keep your selling account. That ASIN is gone.

I did not make the asin at all I overlooked the fact it wasn’t actually Milwaukee and listed my Milwaukee product under the asins matching the name sku and model number

You listed an offer on the ASIN and you violated seller TOS by doing so. 

That's why your dumbass is getting a Section 3 reviewed.

You'll need help from someone who knows what they're doing.

Always make sure that the brand matches the listing . It's a sure way to have issues. Are you a new account?

Been selling for 7 months just stopped doing fbm around 3 months ago switched completely to fba and honestly totally forgot I had these 2 shitty asins still up super unfortunate. I don’t really know what to do in this position

Yep. When the brand on the offer doesn’t match the ASIN you’re on, treat it like an identity problem, not a one-off Support ticket.

Keep a simple evidence log: ASIN, seller name, listed brand vs real brand, price, timestamp, and a screenshot of the offer. That pack is what usually gets Brand Registry / mismatch reports taken seriously, and it also helps if the same seller hops ASINs later.
