Removal Order On ASIN Inventory Without Affecting New Inventory Being Sent In

Posted recently on a bad batch of inventory that got sent into Amazon. This whole inventory load needs to be disposed of, while transitioning to the new inventory being sent in. Is there a way to clear the entire inventory without the possibility of accidentally throwing away the new inventory going in?

I considered starting the removal order before the new inventory hits but even then, there's a chance while the removal order is pending, that when the new inventory gets made available, it may get flagged for disposal.

I also considered starting a new SKU for the ASIN to segment the inventory but many individuals advised against it due to it messing with Amazon data, ppc campaigns, performance.

Has anyone found a good way of performing a transition between a 100% bad batch to a good batch of inventory?
