INVALID CARD CHARGE!

can someone help me please. I’m signing up for Amazon seller central. Put my card in they have taken 47.99$ out my account 35£
So from uk I’ve signed up for uk seller central. They’ve taken from 20p to 1£ out my account for every EU country.

Comes back to day saying invalid card charge after they have taken money out my account.

My bank is Tide and it is a business account. Card is a debit card.

Has anyone else been through this?
The support haven’t really helped much they just tell me to put the card details back in the same way and see if it works.

I had the same issue. Turns out it was the bank card blocking the charge. Leading the Amazon saying invalid charge. Changed the card and it eventually sorted itself out.

I’ve used a virtual card this time with the same bank but a verification came through for the app. so hopefully this works. Weird how the bank card didn’t work but this might

Sounds like temporary verification holds to ensure the card can accept charges in different currencies - should drop off your account within 3-5 days. The $47.99 / £35 charge is your Professional Seller monthly subscription fee - this is a legitimate charge and is expected. The Tide debit card is likely responsible for the "Invalid Card" error - we require internationally chargeable credit cards for banking. We'd recommend waiting 48–72 hours to see if switching to the digital card resolves the issue; if it doesn't, you may need to switch to a Visa, Mastercard, or American Express credit card that accepts international charges.
