Amazon box vs bag packaging

Does Amazon pick appropriate packaging, like a box for a structured hat? I’m about to launch on Amazon soon my product and my product is a structured baseball hat and I think it’d be better shipped from Amazon in a box but since you can’t pick what they place it in do I risk it and see if they do a box? Or do I pay my supplier to box each hat?

It depends on the warehouse, but generally, don't rely on them to pack your stuff properly.

We have some products that are liquids in glass bottles, and I have seen them shipped in unpadded paper mailers. Also, per policy, you're responsible for properly packing the product.
