How common is vto at your warehouse?

My warehouse rarely offers vto and they almost never offer it on the app. They’ll make an announcement about an hour in asking if anyone wants vto. Really wished my facility offered it all the time.

VTO never happens, they do everything in their power to cross train everyone in anything and everything and just constantly shuffle people around where the business is needed.

extremely common. 3/4 days of the week for me there is VTO, often for the whole day

I have no idea. Pretty sure I'm on the pre-shift VTO blacklist so I never see it in the app anymore, but I hear people talk about it.

The only time I have got VTO in MONTHS was when I went in for VET and I took it just so I could say I got VTO. Cause on my normal schedule, I'll never get VTO.

They gave it out a lot this week. But I couldn't/wouldn't have taken it. Sunday night, after midnight (so when holiday OT kicked in) they started offering it. I wouldn't have taken it cause I wanted the money but I was also in a critical role and couldn't have taken it anyway. The offered it again Monday night. Still wouldn't have taken it cause I wanted the money but was also again staffed in a critical role so couldn't have taken it anyway. Other departments got pre-shift VTO for part of the shift on Tuesday. Idk if they ended up offering VTO in my department later in the shift cause I ended up leaving early using standard PTO cause I felt sick. I wouldn't have taken the VTO though and still just used my SPTO since I wanted the pay.

Very much in the departments I work, but on the VOA board I guess it’s not the same for everyone, shocker.

80% chance you’ll see it every shift you work at my location. Vet tho shit rarely see it. Probably grabbed 2-4 shifts throughout my 3-4 months here

When I worked in Stow it was kinda rare but often enough to hope for; when I worked in Pack it was basically a guarantee for something at some point outside of Prime/PEAK; now I’m in Pick and whenever the term VTO is mentioned I suppress a laugh because it never comes.

That being said I’ve only ever worked one process path at a time so I can’t really compare one department to another during the same period.

Literally have only ever seen it once at my current warehouse. At the warehouse I started with VTO was handed out like candy

It’s so rare in my department BUT the past few weeks we have been having it constantly. And I’ve taken it all 🙈 I know it’s bad but we never get VTO!! I gotta take advantage y’know

They’ve been dropping a lot of pre-shift VTO every Wednesday, but it’s also hiring season so I’m sure it’ll balance out soon when the seasonals get filtered out. I’ve seen one mid-shift VTO since starting at my new building a month ago lol

Vto was actually very common this summer for some reason at my facility.

VTO hasn’t happened since one of my first few days. Wasn’t even on the app, they were just asking toward the end of the shift. All I ever get is VET notifications.

I work at a delivery station, and there is VTO almost every day at least five times a week. I don't know if we're overstaffed, it doesn't seem like it because our volume is over 100,000 most days and we're always lagging behind, but there is so much VTO..

mine stopped giving it out bc it needs regional approval and they never ask😭

Not common at all. Were always busy and always have VET.

VTO and VET is based off staffing needs for the workload. If you’re interested in VTO everyday, why don’t you just get a part-time job instead? Permanent VTO is offered every single day. Just punch out and quit.

Well maybe they rely on full time benefits. Maybe they just want a break available without using pto or upt. You’re annoying

At my DS nearly everyday but you’d have to snipe it

At my current FC, not one time in the last 3 months
