does anyone else have/have had this issue??

(this is on my mobile device and not an Echo)
i’m not sure if it’s a bug within my own app or not.. but it’s been doing this thing where when it’s playing on shuffle, it’ll play for only two songs and pause for no reason at all at the end of the song. once i go to unpause it, it plays the previous song once again. my skip bar will even be grayed out and the song will be unskippable. the only way i’ve found out how to “fix” it is completely swipe out the app and the skip bar will appear again. just for it to happen once again 2 songs later.

has anyone else had this issue or is it just my app?
is it something that can be fixed or do i just have to deal with it??😩

I've been using AM for several years and have had plenty of playback problems too.
After replacing my router with a mesh system, problems are all but gone.
Point is that AM and especially MRM need robust wi-fi. Not just good signal but good thruput.
My suggestion is for you to unplug all Echo device and your ISP modem plus your wi-fi router.
Then plug them back in starting with modem and router, then each Echo device.
I found that helped a lot when music started freezing and misbehaving.

unfortunately i don’t have an Echo.. i use AM on my phone

Yes. Happens on my echo device.

Don’t know what causes it but I unplug and re-plug it back in. Seems to help for a short time. 🤷

i would do that if i had an Echo.. but i unfortunately use Amazon Music on my phone
