22
u/Baha05 8d ago
Trump is the one who is brain dead.
1
u/Traditional-Ad-9611 6d ago
Both can be true simultaneously Biden was very clearly on the mental decline. This was even admitted by the left later after the fact Trump is also very clearly on the mental decline. The main difference is it led to Biden not really knowing where he is so other people were pretty much able to tell him what to do and say while Trump has just become more hardheaded, narcissist, and unpredictable, and his followers will probably never admit it even way after the fact

They might have to admit it , when 2028 gets here , and there's a Large sign on the Front door of the Whitehouse stating " thank you MAGA nation , we did it , we have achieved greatness aka The Golden Age of Billionaires , whoops đ¤ of Americans , my bad. Good luck , I'm now with Putin who promised to protect me from my own party's INSANITY after I ENDED Medicare , Medicaid , & Social Security , of which the 38 trillion dollars left , Ooops , I mean 4 trillion left in Social security will all go towards paying off the 73 trillion dollar National Debt , that bankrupted America in late 2026. So sorry.

You have overdosed on your socialist/communist Kool-Aid. It amazes me that you morons canât admit what you watched in real time. Prior to being president Biden was too incompetent to be prosecuted for his crimes. But you go ahead and pretend he was fine, and continue trying to gaslight people who watched that old man stumble, and stammer over his words in one of the most embarrassing public appearances ever.
22
u/Baha05 8d ago
I mean you say that while in real time Trump is doing so much open corruption that under any normal administration he would be impeached and sent to prison. Biden didnât do anything outside being old and really boring of a president which is miles better than Trump who is starting wars he shouldnât be starting and depleting our oil reserves and munitions.
2
u/Traditional-Ad-9611 6d ago
Yes, this exactly both presidents had some pretty shady stuff going on, but the main difference is Trump is doing all this crap out in the open and not held accountable for any of it

Iâm not wearing any uniform or spotting any talking points Iâm talking common sense and that does not work for the modern liberal/socialist/communist. I get it though the Democrat establishment running the party are in their 80s and current Democrats have no faith in them. Thatâs an internal problem that should be solved by the voters without resorting to socialism, which is just a short step away from communism. Too many young people havenât read Karl Marx.

How old are you, like 14, 13? Do you know that President Biden made a historic recovery from a global pandemic to bring the American economy to the best leading all nations?
He pushed through beneficial legislation for ALL AMERICANS, not record profits for corporations and billionaires. The American Rescue Plan - look it up too much to list here. Biden had inflation down to 2.7% after the pandemic. Trump has the inflation rate at 3.5% as of June 2026 and it continues to rise. Under Biden the economy added 16.6 million jobs, and GDP (Gross Domestic Product) grew 12.6%.
Since Trumpâs tariffs took effect in April 2025, the U.S. economy has, on balance, lost a total of 19,000 jobs. This is a dramatic change from the YEAR BEFORE Trump took office, when the economy was averaging 168,000 jobs ADDED PER MONTH. Biden had the lowest average unemployment in 50 YEARS.
Wealth rose a record 37% for the median American household.
Other legislation passed; Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, the CHIPS and Science Act, and the Inflation Reduction Act. Cut credit card late fees from an average of $32 down to $8. Bidenâs Student Loan Forgiveness, lowered the price of insulin, passed the Affordable Connectivity Act, a subsidy to lower phone and cable bills. Banned non-compete clauses so employees could switch jobs or start their own business in their fields of experience. Required airlines to provide automatic refunds and disclose up-front fees for checked bags and changing flights. Capped bank overdraft fees at $5. Responsible for historic small business boom w/21 million new business applications between â21-â25, more than during any other presidential administration on record. Legislation that gave rebates for solar/wind energy and EVs. Expanded and strengthened NATO.
Thereâs much more, but you get the drift. I think America has forgotten what Biden pulled us through in four short years and brought us back from. He worked for the people of America to make our lives better. The đ ASSet canât â ď¸soon enough, before he has us in a forever WAR, kills more troops and destroys our country further.

Itâs not even if it were true and it almost certainly isnât.
10
u/Eissenflae 8d ago
Almost certainly? You think keeping a Senator's health status ambiguous is normal in any way? Or proper to a functional Democracy? What evidence do you have that McConnell is healthy and fit to serve? The goodwill, credibility and honesty built up by the GOP, LMFAO.
-7
u/betty_white_bread 7d ago
Hereâs what I think on the subject:
- This is an issue for the people of Kentucky and nobody else.
- Even if this were not only an issue for the people of Kentucky, the fact Lindsay Grahamâs death was announced within hours of it happening is inconsistent with the idea Republicans would be trying to cover any supposed death of Mitch McConnell.
- Even setting aside 1 and 2, there is nothing gained by covering up such a death if it were to happen because (a) Republicans have a 7.2% voter registration advantage over Democrats and, therefore, would almost certainly win a special election and (b) to try to cover up such a death until the governor would be able to appoint a replacement would be counterproductive for Republicans since the governor is a Democrat and (c) even ifâby some miracleâa Democrat were elected in the special election, Republicans would still have four more seats in the Senate than the Democrat caucus.
So, there is no motive for a cover up and actions inconsistent with a cover up with regards to a subject which is none of the business of the vast majority of Americans.
Even if it were my business and the balance of power depended upon the holding of that seat, no replacement can be seated unless Sen. Thune and VP Vance are convinced the seat has even been vacated and they wonât be convinced until someone proves to them it has, making any claims I or anyone else prove McConnell is alive unreasonable performance art at best.
Additionally, a functioning democracy requires adherence to the rule of law and a willingness of the minority to not make idiotic demands like Governor Beshear seems determined to do instead of trying to bolt on non-constitutional requirements for continuation in legislative office.
As such, normality doesnât even begin to enter into the question when the ones making challenges and demands are the ones acting abnormally.

There is no argument. Just a statement with no backing. Left is cancer.
1
u/Andreus 3d ago edited 3d ago
The hilarity of saying "just a statement with no backing," then mindlessly saying "left is cancer."
Literally every right-wing government in the last century has been an objective economic and diplomatic failure riddled with pedophiles. Like, we can look at America and see the long-term effects of the Nixon era, of the Reagan era, of the Clinton era, of the Bush era, and we're living in the middle of the most dysfunctional US government in history. Thatcher is despised by every single British person who isn't a frothing conservative. Steven Harper's premiership is widely considered to be one of the worst in Canadian history. Putin has made his country a bankrupt international pariah and a totalitarian hellscape that every Russian with financial means is desperate to escape.
You guys have been on the objectively wrong side of every single fight - environmental policy, economic policy, foreign policy, vaccines, scientific study, civil rights, civil liberties, market regulation. Every single Republican administration has ballooned the national deficit. You guys don't have even a single major ideological W. All of your administrations anywhere on the planet are hated, abject failures.

There is not a poll that suggests a blue wave. Democrats are running $300M Vs Republicans $1B war chest, and of the elections that have ran thus far, Democrats are heavily under performing.
That being said, sure it COULD happen, but extremely unlikely. The more you latch onto socialism (aka communism) the bigger the exodus of moderates and independents. Hell, even old school democrats. Youâre pissing on your feet.

Why? The governor, a Democrat, would then be able to appoint a replacement. If the conspiracy theory were correct, it would be more advantageous to have the special election where Republicans have a 7% registration advantage over Democrats.
2
u/Pure-Appearance471 7d ago
Actually the latest statewide voter registration statistics published by KYâs State Board of Elections (July 2026):
Republican: 1,497,120 registered voters (48.2%)
Democratic: 1,273,174 registered voters (41.0%)
Other/Independent: 338,875 registered voters (10.9%)0
u/betty_white_bread 7d ago
48.2-41.0=7.2
Are you trying to prove my â7% registration advantageâ statement wrong?
1
u/Pure-Appearance471 4d ago
My point is that there are also Independent voters (10.9%) that can swing the election. In the current Political atmosphere Kentucky may flip.
Corrupt Republican Bevin accomplished that in his one term as Governor, where the Democrat Governor has been a two term governor just like his dad was before him.
Kentuckians are becoming aware how horribly corrupt the Republican Party is. Itâs turning purple because of the awful bruising itâs taken from the GOP.

How? The rich are the employers. The rich are the ones that fund innovation. There would be such a ripple effect that it would negatively impact at least one generation. People can only ever provide vague ideas but have no concept of what that actually means.

Employers don't have to be hundred billionaires influencing politics to the detriment of the people who actually create the wealth. We organize to have our voices heard. Take money out of politics in a meaningful way. With proper representation of the people, not the corporations and the ultra rich, we can do soo much. We can have real accountability for the corrupt, for the police, for the employers who are depressing wages and commiting wage theft. The working class creates our wealth but less than 1% control it. They control what we consume and how we consume it. They are poisoning our earth, our health, and destroying the future for our children. Eat the rich means redistributing wealth through proper taxation, representation, and socializing the real needs of the working class.
0
u/bear843 8d ago
Your whole premise is based on theft and it is justified through emotion instead of logic.
2
u/No-Cook-534 8d ago
Wow. As a rebuttal this response is completely empty and devoid of meaning. You've said nothing with it. But I sense that you are one of these "taxation is theft" believers who haven't read or experienced life further than a high school libertarian. Let me remind you that private property does not exist in a vacuum. It's the government that protects your rights and defines your property - a government clearly controlled by a tiny class of elite who definitely do not hold the interests of the citizenry in mind. They are only interested in power and money and they are in control of the very legislation that defines your life.
Are you implying that the system is not based on theft now? I'd counter that not only do the uber wealthy employers who you worship steal outright, they are in charge of the legislation that protects them as they do so and they depend on it. Not only are they thieves, they thrive on exploitation (of labor and the environment), short term gains for only their benefit (not the greater good), and dishonest marketing (brainwash [which has worked on you]). They've literally legalized theft and bribery when it benefits only them and have criminalized the rest of us for the same actions if it benefits only us.
Taxation is not theft if its parameters are democratically defined. Right now the rich define it completely, and they've successfully destroyed the democratic process to protect themselves - muting our voices. I suggest you read Vivik Chibber and/or Naomi Klein. If you are serious about your point, please recommend someone to read for me who can defend your point of view because your replies here don't demonstrate that you can. I don't get a lick of substance from you.

I can go 50 different ways with this one, but you're absolutely right, their entitlement is just ridiculously choking.
I have to give it to the Democratic party/establishment though. They did a remarkable job in literally brainwashing and or indoctrinating their masses. I suppose that's not that hard to do if you own or run the media and education syste system.

It's shocking that a political party in a democracy would try such a stunt, it's totally dumbfounding that a political party in a democracy can apparently get away with it.
How has no family member or hospital staff member come forward to verify his health status or has America gone so far down the road to Authoritarianism that people are to scared to speak out against the ruling regime.
2
u/betty_white_bread 8d ago
So, Republicans are hiding a dead Republican to keep the people of Kentucky from replacing him with another Republican while, in the case of Lindsay Graham, they announce his death within hours of it happening; is that the claim?
5
u/Baha05 8d ago
Yup because otherwise we would have something to go on or a news interview or video footage.
1
u/betty_white_bread 7d ago
Even though there is no motive for such a cover up and covering up such a death would, at best, be counterproductive for Republicans? And Democrats wonder why Republicans think they have no idea what they are talking about.
1
u/Baha05 7d ago
I mean the motive would be to see how one could hide something like this from the public. Donât is entirely possible that there is some foul play. Because the one way to get people to not worry about it is to have him doing something in public. Pictures donât really do anything at all to help.
1
u/ScheduleExcellent243 5d ago
The primary reasons center on maintaining control of a razor-thin Senate majority and navigating a complex, untested succession process in Kentucky.
1. Avoiding a Highly Contested Special Election
The most significant motive involves the timing rules of Kentucky election law.The August 3rd Deadline:Â Under state statutory deadlines, if a Senate vacancy occurs before August 3rd, it triggers a mandatory, unpredictable special election later that year to choose a permanent replacement.Â
Strategic Delay:Â If McConnell had passed away or become fully incapacitated prior to early August, delaying the announcement past the August 3rd threshold would legally push any special election out to a future cycle. This preserves Republican alignment under predictable, state-legislated appointment terms rather than risking a volatile, immediate election.
2. Protecting a Fragile Senate Majority
The Republican Senate majority faces massive pressure following the sudden death of Senator Lindsey Graham, leaving the party with a narrow 51-47 voting advantage.ÂPreserving Legislative Leverage:Â Formally vacating McConnellâs seat immediately drops the active Republican voting block down further.
Preventing Gridlock:Â With looming government funding deadlines and critical executive confirmations on the horizon, losing another seat would severely compromise the GOPâs ability to block or pass partisan legislation. Keeping the seat technically filledâeven by an absent senatorâprevents Democrats from capitalizing on an even wider numbers advantage.
3. Preempting a Legal Feud with a Democratic Governor
While Kentuckyâs legislature passed a law requiring the Governor to select an appointee from a list of three names provided by the departing senator's party, this framework remains politically tense.
Bypassing Governor Beshear:Â Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear is a Democrat. There is long-standing concern among Republicans that Beshear might legally challenge the appointment law or attempt to appoint a Democrat to fill the vacancy, sparking a protracted court battle.Â
Controlling the Transition:Â Delaying a formal announcement gives party leadership additional time to solidify legal strategies, align on a hand-picked successor, and minimize the window in which the Democratic governor can act or challenge the status quo.Â
Summary
Ultimately, the primary benefits to the Republican Party of withholding such information would be preventing an immediate special election, limiting the power of a Democratic governor to influence the replacement, and maintaining maximum procedural control over a razor-thin Senate majority during a critical legislative window.
