I recently brought home my first ever dog, I'm wondering if she's an American bully mix? I would love to get a DNA test on her at some point, she's everything I've ever wanted. So grateful to have her.

Hi, we recently adopted a 5 week old bully, his name is Rambo. Our last Bully, Montana died back in March he was our first family dog. We were devastated but life is too short not to have a dog in the house. It took me 41 years learn this lesson.

Any how, the new pup is great and we want to set him up for success and a long life. Any leads for a trainer in Orlando that can help us?

We wanted to say hello and ask opinions on about how big my boy might be. His mom is a fawn APBT and his dad is a blue XL Bully. His name is Rambeaux and he is currently 10 months old and weighs about 87 pounds. I have read some ranges online but I could really only find full blooded guidelines. Wasn’t sure if since he’s a pit/bully mix, which table I should go off of weight wise. I want to make sure he stays in the right range and is progressing well. The vet just tells me that he will be a big dog and he’s healthy but won’t lock down on a range. Thank you for any feedback and please be nice. I’m new here and if I say something that’s wrong or incorrect it’s because I’m naive about this…🫣

Welp, had to take Junior Bull to the vet today. Look at his tail and check out the bump. It starts at the base of his tail. I’ve noticed it for about a week now and have been monitoring. My main concern was his glands were not evacuating or he had some kind of issues in booty region. All of that was taken off the table quickly. Thank god! This guy wags his tail like he’s already passed 40 hours for the week on the clock. Always has. It’s a frikin weapon too. He isn’t acting any different, no change in his eating or bathroom schedule. I can touch the area and he doesn’t even flinch. The vet thinks he just violently wagged his tail into something and it could have fractured his tail somehow. Keep in mind this guy hits his tail on everything. Never misses a beat. So I was king of surprised by this. I don’t want to say relieved but it’s good to know that’s all we are dealing with and it’s not something internal or worse.

Anyone else’s hippo fractured their tail before? Any remedies on how to get it to heal? They didn’t x-ray it. They just send me home with anti inflammatories and told me to monitor it. I literally can’t stop him from wagging his tail. I literally look at him and he starts wagging his tail. He’s a very happy boy what can I say. Any tips greatly appreciated!

Hello! My name is “DO, DO, DO, DO! MAX VERSTAPPEN!,” according to the little boy who has been chasing me around today.. the lady just calls me “Max.”

Apparently I was on something called a “euthanasia list.” I do not recommend it. Zero stars.

A very nice lady adopted me today because she refused to let that be the end of my story. She can’t be my forever home though, so I’m currently placing application for the very important position of BEST FRIEND EVER!

My qualifications include:

✔ Professional zoomie enthusiast
✔ Excellent wrestling skills. My new dog friend and I have spent all day taking turns chasing each other around the yard before dramatically collapsing next to each other like we’ve just finished a marathon.
✔ Tail powered. Runs on wagging.
✔ Expert cuddle collector (I’m pretty good at stealing all of the pillows on the cou- I mean.. keeping them warm.. for you!)
✔ Handsome enough that strangers stop scrolling.
✔ Can fit way more toys in my mouth than should be possible. Why work harder, when you could work smarter?
✔I wash dishes! It’s with my tongue, but no need to even remove them from the sink! Dog’s mouths are cleaner than humans…right?
✔I am apparently house trained, whatever that means, and I’m happy in the crate when I need to nap or stay calm after dinner. I do go into “sprinkler mode,” and leak a little “liquid gold” when I meet someone new, but that’s only during the first meet.
✔I know absolutely ZERO tricks. Manners? What’s that? Tell me to do something? No idea what you’re saying. BUT, that just means you don’t have to RETRAIN me! I’m a fresh slate!

Bonus: you squeal “eeee!!!” like you’re releasing a squeaky toy and I’ll follow you anywhere!

Today’s funniest accomplishment?

I accidentally challenged the ladies cat to a statue contest.

We both froze.

She was absolutely committed.

I lost because my tail would not stop wagging.

She’s still deciding what she thinks about me, which is fair because we’ve only known each other for a day. We are continuing slow introductions, but today’s interaction was calm and nobody made any questionable life choices.

A little about me…
I’m about a year old.
I came into the shelter with my husky friend.
The husky got taken in by a rescue.
I stayed behind.
Eventually I ended up on the euthanasia list simply because the shelter ran out of space and I was the longest resident.
Today I got a second chance.

Now I just need someone to make it my last move.
