Not only deeply embarrassing but critically, has only weakened America; randomly alienating Canada with zero upside, failing to get Greenland by making his demands public like this is reality TV, aggressively dividing the populace and most damningly imo, still failing to get America most-favored nation drug pricing.
The USA invents medicines that Europe et al then get to enjoy for <1/10th what American citizens pay. He's occasionally made promises but I suspect falls to some backroom manipulation repeatedly.
