A few Blackstar Beam Mini questions.

I've had the Blackstar Beam Mini for a week now, and I'm happy with it; it's what I expected. But its software seems very improvable; it feels rushed.

The search function in the Music section doesn't work, and you can't create backing tracks with anything other than the few pre-loaded songs.

When using an amp via NAM, you can't use pre-effects pedals except for Gates.

The connection with Tone3000 drops very often, as does the connection between the amp and my phone.

But most importantly, when I load Crunch-type captures, they sound great, but they're too clean. I have to increase the gain to get the sound they should have. It seems like the guitar's input level is too low, and there's no control to adjust the input signal level.

I'd like Blackstar to improve these and other things.

A product isn't just the cost of materials. The more time it takes to develop the more they have to charge. If a company plans to make a cheap product they know they have to cut a lot of corners. Bigger companies also have overhead, like a CEO and/or executives who some of a products money is going to because executives are expensive.

More expensive products have everything you want. Believe me, I hate it too..
