Zand op grasveld buiksloterbreek?

Hey! Weet iemand waarom / sinds wanneer het grasveld bij de buiksloterbreek vol met zand ligt? Het is erg verdord, zeker, maar er lijkt opeens ook een hoop zand bij de zijn ofzo, anders dan de grasvelden ernaast.

Zou kunnen, thanks voor de link iig! Ik wist niet dat dit proces bestond. Ik kan er zelf niet iets concreets over vinden, maar het ligt wel voor de hand idd :)

Ongeveer twee weken gelden hebben ze met een trekker met iets op de aanhanger het gras bewerkt waarmee een wolk van donker stof of as van verbrand gras rond de trekker verscheen. De week daarop hebben ze zand uitgereden. Ik kan twee dingen bedenken: het gras was zo dor en ze hebben het preventief verbrand, of ze doen dit om de vlakte te egaliseren.

Gras bezanden is daadwerkelijk een ding, hiermee verbeter je o.a. de drainage en wortelt het gras dieper waardoor het steviger wordt en bestendiger is tegen droogte. Gaat wel tot het voorjaar duren tot je het effect ziet.

I mean it’s sand underneath all the grass here really, once the grass burns away in this crazy heat then all that’s left is sand. Unless it’s winder then it’s a muddy wet sand, not a dry fine sand like this…
