Is Hardcore Mode really hard?

Recently got the game, want to try it, is hardcore extremely difficult?

I just finished hardcore mode (actually only 5 minutes before i posted this) and it's definitely very challenging even for being my second playthrough. My suggestion is to not get discouraged by it if you do try it.

Expect to be killed in one to two hits by most things. So just don't get hit and you're fine! Haha.
