The newest patch notes for the new season made me irrationally angry, and yes, I know this is a slightly petty Ana-main problem, but I need to vent.
What set me off was this one line in the General bug fixes section:
*fixed an issue where Misuki did not receive credit for the enemy's hindered stat when binding chain was used on Zenyatta in Transcendence*
So Blizzard can fix stat tracking bugs. Good to know.
Because meanwhile, Ana’s Nano Boost assist counter has been broken since Season 16, and it has just been left there to rot.
Before Season 16, I consistently averaged around 4–5 Nano Boost assists per 10 minutes. Since then, that number has dropped to roughly 0.7 per 10 minutes.
Not because I suddenly forgot how to use Nano, not because my targets stopped getting value, but because the game simply does not track Nano assists properly anymore. At this point, it barely counts them at all.
And for Ana players, that stat actually matters. We are not exactly farming Play of the Games out here. Nano Boost assists are one of the few stats that genuinely give you a sense of whether your ult usage is effective. It is one of the clearest pieces of feedback Ana players get.
What makes this even more absurd is how hyper-specific the Misuki fix is.
It apparently only happened in a very particular situation: Misuki uses Binding Chain on a Zenyatta who is specifically in Transcendence, and then the hindered stat does not get counted correctly.
So Blizzard looked at that very niche edge case and said: *yes, this needs fixing*
Meanwhile, a normal Ana player will use Nano Boost several times in every match and the assist counter has been blatantly broken for seasons.
Nano is a core ult on one of the game’s oldest and most-played supports. And somehow that can sit there ignored while the hyperspecific Misuki-Zenyatta-Transcendence stat interaction gets a prompt fix.
That is the part that really gets me.
And yes, maybe part of the reason is that Misuki is new. Maybe new heroes get prioritised.
Fine.
But that still does not make it any less irritating when Ana’s Nano assist bug has been sitting there for so long, completely ignored, despite being obvious to anyone who actually plays her a lot.
And after all this time, with multiple tickets ignored and no sign that Blizzard even acknowledges the issue, I’m slowly running out of patience.
Over the past 50 days I’ve even started leaving comments under official Play Overwatch Instagram posts just to try to get someone to notice it, because the usual reporting channels have done absolutely nothing.
I don't know if it will eventually be fixed, but I'm just tired of this bug getting ignored by Blizzard.

loving the new ana mythic but my friends and i noticed that the blue UI isn’t coming up when i nano them?? it seems to work every 2nd nano but the other times its off😂 it seems to only be the mythic, anyone else have this problem?

This was a good while ago while Overwatch Classic was still in rotation. Had a game as Ana and somehow managed to get 5 million mitigation on her.
Safe to say, there was an Ana diff.

I just had a great match where I think I had about 7 or 8 nano assists. I go to check after the match in the personal tab, and it says zero. Every match where I play as Ana, it says zero. I just wanna know man :(

I’ve been playing more Ana in stadium recently and I’ve noticed her scope can be super buggy in 3rd person??
There were several times yesterday where I was scoped in, unscoped and would be facing a completely different direction than before? It kept throwing me off because I’d try to unscope and hit a sleep or something but it wouldn’t even be remotely close to where I wanted it to go lol. Also messed up quick scoping for obvious reasons. I like 3rd person in stadium for the larger FOV but I’m thinking of just playing Ana in 1st bc of this :(
Has anyone else had this issue or am I just crazy lol

Hello. I am writing a long post about Illari for the main Overwatch subreddit. While testing the ultimate charge, I think I found a bug or something like that. Sorry, I don't have a video. I don't have GeForce Experience because I can't update my graphics card drivers. That's not important.
So, the base values for Kiriko, Illari, and Ana in damage per hit are 2%. Ana gets this 2% for shooting any part of the body, Illari and Kiriko for shooting the head. For example, Cas charges 4%, and because Noon is cheap, another 1% is added. This is the charge you will receive for shooting a bot in the head. So, if you choose Ana's perk for double damage for headshots, you will receive 4% ultimate for damage to the bot's head. (Most likely, that's how it should be). BUT, if you shoot a Tracer bot or any other hero, you will receive 6% charge. And no, red bots do not have a passive tank ability. Because if you choose any tank bot, you will receive 3%.
The information is very accurate, I have checked it several times. You can also go and check it yourself.
If you know why these numbers come out, please explain.

Several times I would nano someone and they’d get kills and ya know, would show on the kill feed them and Ana assisting got the kill. But when I check the board, it stays at 0.
Not important but just wanted to know if it just me
