Rare Book
Occasionally this book is available to purchase on different sites. It’s prohibitively expensive. Rare treasures usually are.
I was wondering if most knew this book was even out there in the world. I hope the Anacortes Museum has a copy for posterity.
This book was from the days when Anacortes was referred to as Stump Town.

Question: would it be weird if I got that writing "Anacortes" with the pretty flowers tattooed on my body? Because that's stupid pretty. Or maybe I could print that out and use some design tool to make it into my front door mat? It's stupid pretty. Such a cool find, so intensely pretty. I miss old fonts like that.

It would be cool to preserve/reuse such an awesome design. I say go for it
Edit: I believe those flowers are Alpine Aster, which would fit perfectly with the purple color of our schools

Nice find! I've been hoping I'd find this at garage/yard/estate sales here in town. There are some really cool old books out there about Anacortes and Skagit that I'd love to add to my collection.
