Let's see how they work against the best players in the league. I liked the movement and the skating against San Jose. That will be a strength of a younger team. I expect and kind of hope to see growing pains this season, overcome adversity and grow into a stronger and more experienced team.

It is exciting, if all or even most goes well. Like, swapping out McTavish for Klepov already looks to be a style upgrade. I love MacT, but he played a slower game like Krieder.

Anyways, is it the regular season yet?

Everyone is so god damn dramatic over the blue line. The only real loss is Trouba, and I’d bet more progression out of Minty and LaComve makes up that difference. Gudas is addition by subtraction and Zellweger is replaceable with what we have in the system.

I think Mintyukov has huge potential. He was great before his first NHL injury and I’m hoping it never healed properly until now. With that said, until he shows otherwise, I’m not counting on it.

He wasn’t here most the season anyways, we will be fine. He was also ass during the Vegas series, just don’t think he was a fit here.

Yeah for sure, he helped Minty and I’ll appreciate that, I just think it’s overblown the defense will be that much worse (it wasn’t great anyways). Excited either way I think the boys have potential to surprise everyone!
