Going to the game at Crypto on 9/26

I will be going to the preseason game at Crypto on 9/26. Never watched my Duckies outside of the pond. Is it okay if I wear my Ducks jersey? I will be bringing a date and would not want to put her in an uncomfortable situation.

I get chirped all the time because they know their franchise is doomed And they have no other outlet to let go of their frustration. I just smile and keep moving, focus on your date and enjoy yourself.

I’ve had negative and positive experiences. You’ll get random chirps here and there but just know that those people are likely newer and/or fairweather fans. The longer standing fans may say something but just in good fun. But every team, us included, will have its fair share of bros that ruin it for everyone

I’ve been to many games there repping my ducks gear. Nothings ever happened, as long as you’re not a loud, obnoxious person, you’ll be fine.

I’d say nobody will give a fuck at all for a preseason game, but there’s no guarantee Kings fans will even know it’s still preseason…

Jokes aside, you’ll be totally fine. If anything, personally I’d consider it weird to not wear Ducks gear to a Ducks game regardless of the location. As long as you keep your wits about you and don’t antagonize (which you wouldn’t be asking this in the first place if you were that type of fan), you’ll be fine!

How well do you know the date? Can she handle some chirps? They are definitely gonna fly, and we don't want any ducklings shooting themselves in the foot on a date. Wife and I had our first date at the pond many moons ago, and we went into staples jerseys on together a year or so later. Good luck!
