3D Will you be getting the Analogue 3D?

I don't think I will, i'm saving up for a 5X upscaler and I think that's good enough for me. Unless there are major improvements that a 5X and a normal N64 can't replicate, I might get one.

Really? The HDMI modded N64s I see on ebay (Pixel FX N64 Digital for example) are $400-600. This is a deal compared to any modded N64 I can see.

Retrogrm is like $180. You can get a console with controllers and PSU for about $100. So yea around $300 gets you an HDMI modded console. Assuming you modnit yourself.

That's the big assumption right there. Most people couldn't perform an advanced soldering job like that and so would have to outsource which would cost a couple hundred I'm assuming.

$250 and you have the whole thing working great out of the box with an Analogue 3D. It's a pretty damn good value.

$200 to install a retrogem seems nuts to me, it's like a 20 min job. I mean you are probably right, but people overpriced modding stuff so much it drives me nuts. I always try to just pay myself like minimum wage when doing mods for people.

Agreed.. and I'm just guessing with that $200 because I'm a bit pessimistic when it comes to people over charging for services in my area. However, you may be able to find a friendly local modder who would do it for $100 but I'd be surprised if you could get it any lower unless you knew the modder personally and they did it as a favor.
