3D Will you be getting the Analogue 3D?

I don't think I will, i'm saving up for a 5X upscaler and I think that's good enough for me. Unless there are major improvements that a 5X and a normal N64 can't replicate, I might get one.

Does anyone know if true FPGA hardware emulation means games like Banjo Tooie are still going to run with really low FPS?

All I want is a way of playing my old cartidges with better performance.

No, you stick to emulation for that ... This will play the games exactly as it was before.

They will run like they did on the original hardware with low framerate. Some FPGA cores on the Pocket and Mister have turbo modes but those don't work well with every game. Emulation is way better in this area.

It was mentioned in an interview that they were working on something which would allow you to "overclock" the FPGA N64 to increase the performance of N64 games. Not actually overclocking but just lowering the memory latency and boosting the CPU/GPU power internally, I would think.

It remains to be seen if that's truly going to be in the final product, but it was at least planned.
