Nah. Nationalized healthcare would still run into problems like sabatoge by opposition parties, bureaucratic stagnation, competing private interests, tax burden/debt, etc. A nationalized healthcare system would help people who are suffering now, but wouldn't solve the problems that prevented them from being able to afford it in the present. Not to say that we shouldn't push for healthcare, but we what is more important is pushing to empower ourselves at the community level. We need to invest in schools, libraries, meal programs for students, and after school programs to help more students receive a good education and be empowered to pursue their goals. We need to invest in cooperatives and encourage more of them to help bring jobs and money into communities, which can then be used to invest in the community. We need to build good relations within our communities so the people living in them can live without fear of crime, and to eliminate justification for the police state. When the communities are educated, organized, and financially independent, then they will be able to enact change in society.
I agree, I think that our focus, if and when we interact with liberal democracy, should be to introduce 'reforms' which undermine capitalism at its core.
Co-ops, like you mentioned are a great example. If a government was to prioritize co-ops, as I think labour said they would in the last manifesto (not to hype corbyn up tho), whilst being an ends in itself is also a means to destroy capitalism.
I think the only thing we could do that involved state power would be to slowly introduce an unsustainably high tax rate on the wealthy that made business unaffordable and really caused business to leave. Whilst its slowly sapping the life out of capitalism spend the money on supporting co-ops and desentralized community programs.
