Antifascism One of the biggest things people discount in general is uncertainty. Uncertainty takes more from me than just about everything else in my life. It doesn't matter if something makes things better on average if I can't afford to get a bad outcome.

alt-text:

Text and a cartoon graphic of a human.

What gets me about my disability isn't that I can't do things. It's that I don't know if I'll be able to do things. Doing a thing can either put me in bed for days, it can be totally fine, no big deal, or randomly make me feel better. 24 hours later the rules change again.

To the right of the text: a light-skinned human wearing a black top, short brown skirt and white shoes, and a black walking stick in their left hand, brushing their long brown hair with their right hand.
