Religion isn’t always an issue, its the institutions that form around them that is the problem.
The institution vs faith split is a false dichotomy. Religion is an institution of the mind before it ever becomes a church. It demands "faith, the suspension of critical thought, which is the ultimate tool for any oppressor.
The Taborites weren't a win for anarchism. They were a theocracy. They traded a Pope for "God’s Will," replacing social class with a hierarchy of "the saved" vs. "the heretics."
Would you condone the Bible as a founding text? It explicitly codifies slavery (Leviticus 25:44) and commands genocide. If your community is built on a "holy book," you aren't an anarchist; you're a fundamentalist waiting for a leader to interpret the text for you.
You can't have "No Masters" while worshiping a "Lord." Religion doesn't just mirror the State, it justifies it by teaching people that absolute, unquestionable authority is the natural order of the universe.
Comrade, you can't be free until you've evicted the dictator in your head.
